Tyller’s song has been added by the Apple Music editors to their “New In Country” play list:

I wrote Move to Montana last march, the first week of all my gigs being canceled. It was actually nice to take some time to write again, up until then I had been playing a whole lot down in Texas which left little time for creating new music. Emily and I were holed up in the RV waitin’ to see what would come next, and escaping to the mountains sounded like a pretty nice idea! So that was the main inspiration behind this tune penned in the ol’ home on wheels outside Hye, TX. It’s been really creatively fulfilling having a home studio and recording and releasing one song a month since July. I had help from some great musicians at a distance on this one too! Aubrey Haynie has played fiddle on too many great records to count, including artists like Cody Johnson, Josh Turner, John Conlee, Zane Williams…The list goes on! Jen Gunderman lent some beautiful Piano, Jen is a longtime member of Sheryl Crow’s band and also a professor of Rock and Roll at Vanderbilt! My talented Texas rhythm section consisting of Trevor Soetaert on bass and Michael Kelton on drums kept us all in the pocket. |
